Win a shuffle (the cool one)

by Chris Seibold Oct 17, 2006

A while ago I gave five reasons the shuffle was better than a nano. Since then the shuffle has become better and the nano has contracted a big case of the uglies. In fact, the shuffle is Apple’s most compelling iPod right now. Since we just like to give away stuff, Apple Matter’s space challenged sibling SpinMatters (how does Hadley get the space between Apple and Matters, where I can’t get a space between Spin and Matters? The world may never know) is giving away a new shuffle. The device has been ordered and shipment is said to be likely to happen on 11/7. The price of entry? Comments (though a haiku formatted counts extra). For contest info check here, to start wining (and the odds are really good) start mashing the keyboard here. We’ll be posting every day, so keep checking the spinny.

  • I was actually going to comment awhile ago, but there aren’t as many updates on that site.  So get on the ball, CS.

  • Commenting on any article or just this one?  Well, I guess that took care of that…

  • To be clear, the comments that count have to be done at spinmatters. Any article over there published after 10/16 will get a chance to win, win, win

  • Buying votes eh, CS? Anyway, tried to post there, was asked for the login and kept taking me to the front page everytime. I click back to the article and my session is again a guest…Hmmm…is this a bug? I have no problem here at AM or Macitt…

Anyways, before I lose my thoughts, my post there would’ve been:

    Blah! Politics.
    One must understand.
    Is all about Da Munnah!

    Does that qualify?

  • Hi Robo, not buying votes so much as trying to spread the word. Plus, honestly, contests are pretty friggin fun to have. About the login thing, I dunno, it is weird. I can be logged in at AM and have to re login in at spin. In fact I can be logged in as some kind of uber poster editor guy, able to delete anything on spinny and have to log back in. I’ll check the situation with the tech lead guy, H. S.

  • I just got the new Shuffle thursday 11/2/06 and wrote a review today on my blogs page. Though the Nano has a great deal more space, the size of the Shuffle is much better, if you like small.
